Director of Development - Full-Time

The Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland, a home-away from-home for families whose children are receiving treatment at area medical centers, is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as Director of Development.

A full-time position, the Director of Development oversees the fund development, marketing and public relations activities to ensure that goals for all related projects are successfully achieved or exceeded. The Director of Development leads the major gift, endowment, capital and planned giving activities. This position works closely with the Executive Director on strategic planning and budgeting.

Candidates must have 7-10 years of experience in development work preferably in the non-profit sector. Candidates must have a proven history of donor solicitation, knowledge of the Cleveland philanthropic community, and a strong track record of achieving shared goals and successful execution of fund development efforts with multiple stakeholders and agendas. Candidates must possess excellent communication (verbal and written), fundraising, management and organizational skills, have computer experience, be self-motivated, able to work with numerous committees, prioritize multiple tasks and willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
