Familia XXII
Familia XXII – the 22nd annual luncheon and fashion show benefiting the Ronald McDonald House® of Cleveland (RMH) will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2008. The event will once again feature local celebrities modeling the latest fall fashions from Saks Fifth Avenue.
Tickets for the event, held at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven,
6111 Landerhaven Drive at 10:30 a.m., range between $60 and $80. A fabulous raffle and silent auctionand delicious lunch will also be provided.
In 2007, Familia XXI set a new fundraising record of over $75,000 for RMH. Building of the momentum from last year’s event, Diamond Sponsors Bank of
America
and The Lerner Foundation headline an impressive array of sponsors, guests and participants. The event hopes to exceed last year’s success significantly.
Along with new themes and new guests, the House welcomes back many familiar faces, including Honorary Hostess, Wilma Smith of WJW-TV Fox 8.
Funds raised through Familia will provide for the House in a number of ways, including the Share-A-Night Fund, which allows the House to offer rooms on a sliding scale to those families who cannot afford to pay the $20 nightly fee (actual cost to RMH is $75 a night). In 2007, reduced or deferred fees resulted in nearly $100,000 in lost revenue.
Tickets are on sale now via mail or telephone, and will be available to purchase online soon.
For more information on how you can be a part of Familia XXII through sponsorships, donations or participation, please contact Samantha Stroud at (216) 229-5757 or via e-mail at sstroud@clevelandrmh.org.
