Group Volunteers

The Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland welcomes the energy of groups: corporations, civic organizations, schools, and adults. So grab your family, friends, coworkers, or your neighbors, and spend a few hours volunteering at our House. Volunteer groups are a tremendous help in maintaining this large house and adding touches that make it feel like home for those who are staying here while seeking medical care for their children.

Volunteer groups contribute to the House in many ways, including:
-Meal preparation and serving
-Chores or special projects
-Gardening and yard work
-Entertainment and family activities

Bring your group and help our families!

Family Meal Program

We strive to provide all the comforts of home for families, including nutritious meals provided by volunteers. Groups may prepare breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner at the House.

Want to serve but overwhelmed by the planning? Sign up for a RISE & Dine! Your group pays for the food, and a professional chef plans the meal, does the shopping and helps you do the cooking!

Other Group Opportunities

  • Cleaning and Chores

  • Gardening

  • Bingo Night

  • Craft and Entertainment Activities

All volunteers must be 13 years of age or older to volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland. Adequate supervision helps ensure a good volunteer experience. For youth groups, we recommend one adult for every 4 youth. If you have a large group, consider scheduling multiple dates to volunteer so that everyone has an opportunity to contribute.
